Do I need an attorney if I plan to plead guilty?

Not only do you need an attorney, but you should never decide how to plead without an attorney’s advice. You should contact an attorney as soon as you realize you may have a legal problem, ideally before an arrest or criminal charge. Your attorney can help get you out and keep you out of jail if you are arrested and may be able to get some or all charges against you dismissed.

Finally, and most importantly, if you do plead guilty, your attorney can negotiate for a lighter sentence more effectively than you can alone.

Just when I was getting discouraged and was at my wits end trying to find the right attorney for my case, a family member recommended Mr. Brill. He did not disappoint. Mr. Brill and his team are diligent, very professional, encouraging and honest every step of the way. Highly recommended.
