How long does a sex offender stay on the New York Sex Offender registry?

Level 1 (low risk of repeat offense) offenders must register for a period of 20 years. The exception is if they are designated a sexual predator, sexually violent offender or predicate sex offender, in which case they must register for life.

Level 2 and 3 offenders (moderate and high risk) must register for life.

Just when I was getting discouraged and was at my wits end trying to find the right attorney for my case, a family member recommended Mr. Brill. He did not disappoint. Mr. Brill and his team are diligent, very professional, encouraging and honest every step of the way. Highly recommended.
