Peter E. Brill has extensive criminal trial experience in state and federal court, arbitration and administrative proceedings. He has won far more cases that he has lost for his clients in practically every county in the New York metropolitan area. He is in the Long Island and New York City area courts every single day and meets nearly every client, either in court or in the office. He has represented and defended thousands of people charged with misdemeanors and felonies in New York.
A former Assistant District Attorney, he now focuses on criminal defense of both civilians and law enforcement personnel, representing clients charged with a variety of misdemeanors and felonies. He graduated cum laude from Brown University and received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology.
In 2009, Mr. Brill was selected as a Legal Eagle, among the best lawyers on Long Island, by the editors of Long Island Pulse magazine.
In 2007, he was presented with the Special Recognition Award by members of the NYPD’s Detective Borough Queens for his work defending law enforcement officers and members of their families who have been criminally charged.
